How much does it cost?
Some companies charge per physical line, i.e., “Dear Sir” would be considered a full line. At Accu-Write, we use a specialized character counting program and you are charged for a line only when the counter reaches the specified number of characters. We count in this fashion to the end of your document, and if your last line is less than 55 characters, you get that for free. The cost is $.12 per 55 characters.

How is the system set up and by whom?
Setting up the system is a very simple process. One of our field managers will come to your office with all the information you need to get started. Our representative will ask how you would like to dictate your material and how you would like to receive it. We can immediately set you up to dictate directly into our digital computer, or, if you prefer the micro/standard cassette method, we can make arrangements with our courier service. Our field manager will give you the option of receiving your transcripts over the internet or delivered in hard copy.

How long does the set up take?
We can have you dialing into our digital phone-in system the very same day you call us! Or, if you prefer micro/standard cassettes, we can have your tape picked up that day.

What kind of equipment does my office need?
Our office is equipped with all the hardware you need to use. The only equipment your office really needs is a phone or a micro/standard cassette recorder. If you would like to receive your transcripts via internet, you will need a computer, printer and internet connection.

Who do I talk to if I have a question?
We have trained office managers who will be able to answer any questions that you have at any time. Whether it is about our procedures or your account, they will be able to help you immediately.

Does my staff need to be involved in any way?
They simply need to be aware of how transcripts are returned, either by courier or internet. One of our field managers will train them briefly on how transcripts will be received how to retrieve them (if by internet), and how and who to contact with any questions or problems.

How fast are changes implemented?
Any new formats or requested changes are implemented immediately. Whether it is regarding the mode of dictation or how the transcripts are received, a quick phone call, or a brief visit is all it takes.

What kind of information do I need to supply to Accu-Write?
All we need to know is how you would like to dictate and how you would like to receive your transcripts and letters. We take pride in customizing each account to the very specific needs of the client. The initial setup is handled quickly following a face-to-face interview with our field manager and a step-by-step procedure.
